Tera Moody Winning Illinois MarathonTera Moody, a long-time ElliptiGO rider, elite runner and Women’s 2022 ElliptiGO World Champion Winner, recently claimed victory at the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon. While her win is a monumental achievement for this 44-year-old mother of two toddlers, it comes as no surprise to those who have followed her remarkable journey of perseverance, grit, and passion for running.

What makes this victory even more special isn’t just the race itself, but the incredible story behind it. As The News-Gazette reported, Tera’s week leading up to the race was filled with challenges, she was planning to run the Carmel Marathon. She spent months training for this marathon however the event got canceled due to thunderstorms.

Tera pushed through it all to secure the win in a race she described as “grateful” and “hard-fought.” Her triumph, both in the marathon and in life, is a testament to her resilience and determination, inspiring countless individuals along the way.
