In honor of International Women’s Day (#IWD2016), we celebrate these ElliptiGO riders who accomplished great feats over the past year.
Some broke records, others broke through boundaries – all shone brightly. We are proud of them.
Amy Glen – Shortly after getting her ElliptiGO bike, Glen rode 1000 miles in a month – an average of 47 miles per day.
Berni Flynn – The co-founder of the Cheshire High School girls’ track program, Flynn uses her bike as a running alternative since experiencing a knee injury.
Lamorna Brown Swigart and Malinda Walker – This duo rode around San Francisco Bay to raise money to fight breast cancer.
Katie Blau – A long-time cyclist, Blau chose to ride her ElliptiGO bike for her first multi-day riding event, averaging 5-60 miles a day for a week.
Anissa Andres, Mary Decker-Slaney, Jane LeGore and Jeanne Wilson – These four women were part of the six-person Team ElliptiGO to complete the 525-mile California Coast Classic, raising $22,100 to fight arthritis.
Sarah Brown – While 18 weeks pregnant, Brown shattered the women’s record for the World Championships of Elliptical Cycling.
Carol Galgano – The 2015 ElliptiGO Rider of the Year spent the year being supportive, energetic, enthusiastic and innovative.
Jane LeGore – Using her extensive planning and executional skills, LeGore organized the third annual ElliptiGO Winter Classic, bringing together riders from across the country.
We look forward to honoring many more outstanding women in the coming months and years.
